Chicken on the bottle

Chicken on the bottle from "La Provincia"

Chicken on the bottle

La Provincia's chicken also arrived in my kitchen through the Buzz Store! And frankly I'm telling you, I'm really glad that things happened like this (anyway, I have a conviction, that nothing is random!).

I'm a person who grew up with home-cooked food, with a grandmother in the country, who gave me the opportunity to see what good taste means of healthy food.. really good! To all these eating habits rooted adanac in me, day by day, throughout a lifetime, were added 2 tasks – like, yes! I'm the mother of 2 children!! – that have sharpened my senses even more, especially for what's less healthy… I instantly notice something that is not right!!

I saw and heard only good things about the vegetarian chicken La Provincia, and I was slightly intrigued by everything that is said about it… is that really the case?!.. Do I really find the taste of childhood?! … that taste that doesn't bring pills?! …

I chose to make a simple recipe, traditional I could say, but with small elements that give extra flavor to the whole meal (I mean here boiled and baked potatoes and sauce with sour cream and garlic ). If all these 3 elements, chicken, potatoes and sauce, manage to awaken in me that state of well-being, given a tasty meal, then I chose well. And yes!, the taste is unmistakable!!As a parenthesis, my mother has a saying: "Good chicken, good come out!". Indeed the quality ingredients make a big difference in a food, between a taste "to lick your fingers" and a food that "keeps you hungry".

I know in the future what I'm going to choose when it comes to chicken! At the Province !

I embrace you with love,

Ioana

Ingredients

  • 1 piece of whole chicken from La Provincia
  • 3 teaspoons mustard
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt (recommended for children over 1 year of age)
  • Water

Pre-preration mode

Wash the chicken and grease it with salt and pepper, on the inside and outside. Do the same with mustard.

Fill the bottle with water and put the water in a saucepan (without any plastic elements, because you will put it in the oven) no more than 2 fingers. Put the chicken on the bottle, the bottle of water and the chicken in the saucepan, and put in the oven (make sure that the whole chicken is in the saucepan, otherwise the fat that will drain from the chicken will drain in the oven, instead of draining into the saucepan).

Leave the chicken in the oven for 2 hours, at 180 degrees Celsius, on the traditional way (I used electric oven).

Serve with garnish of boiled and baked potatoes and sour cream sauce and garlic.

Good appetite!
